COMPOSER CREATES 'NATURE MUSIC' TO HEAL, UPLIFT AND INSPIRE
Birdsong became the sound of the first lockdown last year, when the earth could hear itself think again and it had a positive impact on most people. I recently came across American composer Tim Janis and his recent musical post entitled 'Beautiful Morning Sunrise' in which stunning, natural bird-songs and other sounds of nature accompany his own music and melodies of hymns you may recognise. It's calming and uplifting with accompanying cinematography of the natural world.
If you haven't already heard of Tim he's sold over a million albums, making a name for himself as a composer of music inspired by the natural world that has healing influences and he's been doing it for years. Nursing homes and hospitals use his music to calm and relax patients and residents and back in 2001, he produced a fund-raising album for the American Cancer Society called 'Music of Hope' which hit the top of the Billboard Classical Chart and on which he played with Paul McCartney, Billy Joel, Andre Previn, Ray Charles, the New York Philharmonic, and the London Symphony Orchestra.
Composing his short pieces for piano, which he plays himself, Tim also employs violin, guitar, flute, and other acoustic instruments, along with the occasional synthesizer and recorded sounds. Tim says, "My mission is to help make the world a happier place. I hope my music and videos will bring peace and relaxation to your daily routine."
