COMPANY TRANSFORMS C02 INTO PERFUME AND VODKA!
With carbon dioxide levels at the highest they've been in 23 million years and climate change currently the largest threat to humanity, a New York based business is using technology to transform carbon dioxide from the air into innovative consumer goods. Air Company removes CO2 from the atmosphere and converts it into ''impurity free alcohols' (sustainable ethanol) with oxygen and water as the only by-products in a factory powered by 100% renewable energy.
They've recently announced the launch of an 'Air Eau de Parfum' in addition to their existing Air Vodka and Air Hand Sanitizer. The citrusy Air Eau de Parfum contains top notes of fig leaf and orange peel, heart notes of jasmine, violet and sweet water and base notes of powdery musk and tobacco. Meanwhile theirAir Vodka with Natural Flavours is billed as the world's first carbon-negative spirit. Their aim is to continue to utilise these sustainable alcohols whilst make their technology accessible to all communities and industries globally.
Looking to the future and on a much larger scale, the sky is the limit quite literally, as they are hoping to open up the market for regenerative jet fuel, synthesized directly from the emissions in the air.
Their debut fragrance is available now for pre-order in the USA and will ship early in 2022. For more information click HERE
